Care Instructions.

TECHSHINE CERAMIC COATING

TECHSHINE guards the vehicle paintwork against oxidization and chalking, the negative effects of acid rain, road salt and pollution, as well as the negative impact on the lacquer coating caused by surface rust or tree resin. Ceramic coating is a longer lasting coating than wax silica products. Any animal or vegetable deposits or industrial fallout (such as airborne rust) and traffic film must be washed off within 24 hours as no paint finish, however protected, can completely withstand the prolonged effects of such corrosive and aggressive environmental influences. Always use a quality mild shampoo to clean your vehicle. Avoid frequent usage of automatic car washes or jet wash facilities, both of which use high alkaline detergent-based products, as reapplication may be required in this instance.

TECHSHINE TREATMENT

The interior treatment for leather preserves the leathers natural properties and maintains a soft luxurious feeling. The treatment will safeguard treated surfaces against cracking, splitting and discolouration caused by the harmful effects of ultraviolet light. Further benefits are obtained through protection against permanent staining from commonly consumed liquids. It is recommended you immediately remove stains on leather as a result of spills from water, coffee or tea, soft drinks or any similar liquids using a clean dry towel or tissue (absorbent paper). Never rub the stain. This pushes the stain deeper and can damage the leather. Applying a 'dabbing' motion is always the best way to remove stains.

For carpets, the impregnating agent will assist in retaining the colour and soft feel of the vehicle’s interior carpets as well as promoting longer life. It will repel the spillage of liquids and allow any spillage to be removed with an absorbent cloth. It is recommended you immediately remove stains on carpets as a result of spills from water, coffee or tea, soft drinks or any similar liquids using a clean dry towel or tissue (absorbent paper). Vacuum if necessary, applying a mild cleansing solution. Never rub the stain. This pushes the stain deeper and can damage the carpets. Applying a ‘dabbing’ motion is always the best way to remove stains.

Warranty

The TECHSHINE Warranty Terms & Conditions guarantees our products under the Australian Consumer Law. The lifetime TECHSHINE Warranty does not include damage to the vehicle’s paintwork caused by stone damage from the road surface, damage caused by external factors or damage caused by vandalism, vehicle accident or impact, or alteration. It also excludes damage or deterioration caused by scratching and hazing generated by handheld brushes or automatic car wash brushes, and any failure to follow the Care Instructions listed on our website. The lifetime warranty does not cover leather which has been ripped, torn or subject to vandalism, vehicle accident or impact, alteration or burning or any damage or deterioration caused by any failure to follow the Care Instructions. Stains caused by acids, Sunscreen, dyes, inks, bleaches, gum paint, lubricants, caustic and corrosive material or fair wear and tear are also excluded. The lifetime warranty does not cover stains on fabrics caused by chocolate, Sunscreen, syrups or any other viscid or sticky solids or liquids. Damage to surfaces caused by burning, ink, paint, dye or other corrosive substances such as vomit, abrasion or fair wear and tear are excluded. Damage or deterioration caused by vandalism, vehicle accident or impact, or alteration or any failure to follow the Care Instructions are also excluded. The TECHSHINE Warranty commences from the Date of Product Application shown in these TECHSHINE Warranty Terms & Conditions. Where in TECHSHINE’s reasonable opinion TECHSHINE has not prevented damage to the vehicle in accordance with this TECHSHINE Warranty Terms & Conditions, TECHSHINE warrants that it will, free of charge, clean or repair (at its option) the damaged section of the vehicle and will re-apply TECHSHINE to the damaged section, provided that the TECHSHINE Warranty Terms & Conditions have been observed. The TECHSHINE Warranty is not transferable upon the sale of the vehicle.
